My Meyer Lemon tree is in full bloom, and it smells heavenly. I usually get a few lemons from it each year, and though they’re small, they’re oh-so-good.
I’m amazed that it’s nearly mid-November and I still have so many flowers in the yard (the lemon tree is in the house, of course). And there are still good tomatoes on the vine. A lot of them have been frostbitten, but there are still some trying to ripen. I pulled a bunch off today that are still mostly green, since I don’t think they’ll have the chance to ripen before they freeze.
Fried green tomatoes for dinner?
Oh, I bet that lemon tree smells amazing!
