It hasn’t been blocked, and still needs buttons, but I figured I’d better blog it now, since who knows how long it will take me to get out and find buttons for it.
I’m pleased with how it turned out, although I would do the decreases around the neck differently if I did it again. There’s a lot of finishing involved, but it’s not that bad. I had a terrible time with the first front piece, but nothing to do with the pattern (other than the errata that I didn’t look for). I just kept making stupid mistakes. It wasn’t a good thing for me to be working on at SnB. Once I sat down at home and gave it my full attention, I breezed right through it without problems.
Pattern: Harvey Kimono from Natural Knits for Babies and Moms.
Yarn: Sublime Extra Fine Merino DK (machine washable!), color 0007, about 2.5 skeins.
Needles: US 5 and US 6
Errata: Yes – Click here
Adorable! Cute sweater arm pose, too. 🙂
So cute!!! I love little knits.
Really cute! And I love the color too…
THAT IS THE CUTEST THING EVER!
The baby, nor mama, will care about the decreases round the neck.
It’s charming and sooooo soft!
