We had a great time at our SLC SnB’s 4th anniversary last night. The one-skein swap was a lot of fun, and I’d have been happy to go home with any of the swap items.

But the one I got couldn’t have been more perfect. The uber-cool “Koolhaas” hat by Jared Flood (AKA brooklyntweed), knitted by the ultra-cool Carla. It’s made from Manos del Uruguay, in a kind of rosy-pink that is perfect for me.

I wish I hadn’t forgotten to take my camera (I’d planned to!), because there were some really great things – neck warmers, fingerless gloves, bags, and a nifty bowl. It was also good to see some people who hadn’t been around for a while – the Jitterbug was really hopping.

    What a great hat! And a one-skein swap is a great idea. It sounds like a lot of fun =) I’m always forgetting my camera, also…
