(That should get me some blog hits, eh?)
I made a trek out to one of the Jo-Ann Superstores yesterday (I sure wish there was one closer to me, especially with the cost of gas these days!). I was able to get the toggle buttons that I needed for the Central Park Hoodie, (which is now done and being worn – stay tuned for a photo shoot).
Wouldn’t you know it, they’re having a 3-day button sale – all buttons are 50% off. (Ends today!) Heh. Guess who ended up buying a whole bunch of buttons for no particular reason other than liking them? I’ve never done that before in my life. What is this knitting thing doing to me? The cashier said that scrapbookers had been buying up buttons like crazy, too.
Anyway, here’s a sampling of what I bought:
I guess now I need to knit some more things to go with the buttons. It’s a vicious cycle.
You can never have too many buttons ‘on hand’. You picked some great looking stash buttons!
Hee hee – I have two button jars…
I was at JoAnn yesterday, so we probably passed in the store without seeing each other!
Great score on the buttons!
You never know when you’re going to finish a cardigan! Better to have some on hand.
ok, since I’m not a native Utah-type person, I need to ask — what do scrapbookers need buttons for?
Wheew, I just saved at least ten bucks by not reading your blog until Monday morning–sale’s already over!
Love ’em! See you in your CPH tomorrow?
