Yarn: Garnstudio Bomull-lin (Cotton, linen); 6 skeins
Needles: 3.75 mm / US 5
Modifications: Added 1.5 inches to length, and .5 inches to armhole depth. Added a little waist shaping.
I really love this top. I knitted the 37.5″ size, but at a tighter gauge, so the finished measurement is about 34″. The pattern was wonderful – well written, easy to follow, and I like the nice details. The front piece is hemmed to keep it flat, but the back isn’t, which allows the bottom hem to scallop a bit from the lace pattern. I liked the short-row shaping at the back neck and shoulders for a nicer fit, and the knitted trim around the neck and armholes is a nice touch. The yarn was slightly harsh to knit with, but I like how the fabric came out, and I think it will be even nicer after a couple of washings. I used a full 6 skeins of yarn, with only a yard or so left over.
