Yes, We’ve Got Snow

Not a lot of it in the downtown area yet, but it’s still coming down.

Snow on Car

Notice that the cars are NOT in the garage, but instead are being treated to a snow bath. The concrete sealer is dry (well, it WAS dry), but now we’re waiting for the self-leveling sealer in the expansion cracks to dry before we can put the cars back in the garage.

The trees are a little surprised to have snow on them.

Early Snow

And I even have knitting news!

The Chinese Style Pullover (Habu Kit 89) is blocking. Today I’ll be able to put it together, and see if it fits. I still need to get buttons for it, though. That will probably have to wait until tomorrow.

Talk about early snow. Thank goodness the stuff on the driveway had time to dry.

Looking forward to seeing the pullover.

OOH!! Send some snow here please!! It might light a fire under me to finish my FLS!!

  3. Stacey says:

Snow! ick. 😀 Good thing about the driveway being ready. Hopefully it won’t snow enough so you have to dig. Can’t wait to see the sweater.

    Will there be booze?

  4. Nora says:

This is just a cruel joke, right??

I’m going to ignore it, and look forward to seeing your knitting!

OK, I may be the only one who says this but I’m a teensy bit jealous! I miss the early snows we had when I lived in Syracuse, NY for a few years. No snow here in CT – not even hand knit weather, as its still in the 60s – I long for chilly days and those first few beautiful snowflakes…

This is just about right on time for northern Vermont. I think the 6th was the “average” day. We didn’t have much stick around here, but we got some extra flurries off the lake yesterday evening.

  7. Bad luck that the garage wasn’t ready, but at least for the rest of the winter there will be no more brushing snow off the tops of cars!

Wow, already! It was 70 degrees here this weekend.
