Vintage, Anyone?

If you like vintage needlework, you might want to take a look at these books available on Project Gutenberg.

For each book, there are a variety of download options. The first HTML link will let you view the book as a web page. The second HTML link is a downloadable zip file.

Beeton’s Book of Needlework“, by Mrs. Isabella Mary Beeton – only a little bit on knitting, but there’s some lovely embroidery, crochet and tatting.
