Well, there’s not much new to report.
I’ve spent a lot of time -not- knitting. However, I did get peas, spinach, and lettuce planted yesterday. And I made another project bag – though I still need to get out for some ribbon for them.
It’s not that there hasn’t been any knitting at all, just that there isn’t a whole lot to show for it. The Japanese top is growing:
I did end up ripping it out after having one 32-row repeat done, because I could see it was going to be too big. I went down one needle size, and now I seem to be on the right track.
How about a closeup of that?
The knitting might go a little faster if I could resist stopping to rub it on my face every few rows. Can’t… help… it……. soooooo… soft…
It’s gorgeous!
It’s SO pretty. Planting? I might plant some lettuce on our patio if I can find the right container.
Very lovely. It looks soft and what a pretty lace pattern.
You’re making me want to garden. Again. I need to get busy!
The knitting is lovely and I’m sure the garden will be too.
Pretty!
Wow, planting?! We’re supposed to have snow Friday…
It is looking lovely. No rush – half the fun is admiring while you go!
So pretty! A 32 row repeat huh…you are a braver woman than me.
That is so very nice! I know it’s hard to rip, but it’s harder to spend the time knitting something you won’t wear.
I just ripped a sweater that I made two years ago because it’s just too darned big. I’m at least excited to have the yarn back!
It looks so soft! Pretty.
