Yes, it was the weekend of the Rocky Mountain Knitters’ Retreat at Alta Lodge, in beautiful Alta, Utah.
It was the perfect weekend – the fall colors are pretty much at their peak, and the weather was glorious. In the low 70’s, I think – sunny and warm.
It was perfect for a walk with friends:
The Quaking Aspen were glowing:
And made a perfect backdrop for these incredibly delicious Bloody Marys (made from scratch – no mixes here!):
But if martinis are more your speed, Betsy’s are totally killer, and have become a Knitters’ Retreat tradition:
Oh, and there was knitting, of course. Lots and lots of knitting. With 32 of your best friends.
