For Christmas yesterday, CrystalBarbie was showing off her Utah crimson and white football jersey and shorts. She thinks they make great PJs.
Pattern: Number 250 from Sticka till Barbie
Yarn: Garnstudio DROPS Safran, in red and white
Needle: US 0/2mm
Meanwhile, Barbie is sporting a sexy little black lace nightie. She doesn’t think the fluffy blue slippers do much for the outfit, but they were a gift from CrystalBarbie, so she feels obligated to wear them. She admits that they’re comfy, but she keeps dreaming about those fab little Maribou mules she has her eye on.
Pattern: Shortie Nightgown, Virginia Lakin’s Knitting Book No. 4
Yarn: Knit Picks Alpaca Cloud, in Midnight
Needles: US 0/2mm
Modifications: Cast on for one less repeat of the lace pattern to make it a little slimmer. The straps are tight and difficult to keep on her shoulders – if I were to make it again, I’d skip knitting the straps in place, and just do crocheted chains afterward.
Pattern: Wovenflame’s Doll slippers
Yarn: Douceur et soie
Needles: US 0000/1.25mm
Size: 2mm feet
Great little pattern – the slippers fit very well and were quick to make. The teeny-tiny needles were the biggest challenge.
Go for the mules, Barbie!
The mules would totally make that outfit!
definitely, the mules!
Yup. She needs the mules!
