Poor Kitty

When I finally rolled out of bed and came downstairs this morning, the house was toasty warm from the strong morning sun, which practically blinded me as I walked into the kitchen. Princess was happily sitting in the sunlight streaming through the windows.

After I fed her, she again reveled in the sunshine, contentedly cleaning her face.

Then she went to the back door and sat in the sun spot, waiting for me to let her outside into the glorious spring sunshine, where she could roll on the warm cement.

Princess in the sun

I opened the door and she trotted towards it… then froze with one paw in the air for a few seconds, and turned tail and ran back to the safety of the dining room.

Snow on the deck

Oh cold, cruel world that has such snow in it.

She’ll just have to go with Plan B.

Hehehe,,, just like our Saki. After more than 2 years in Toronto, the sun still fools him, when it comes out, he thinks he is back in Arizona the poor boy!

My kitties are waiting for me to open the windows. Um. Really needs to be above 55 for me to do that, kitties. Soo… not soon. Kitties have such tough lives, don’t they?

I must say I felt much the same way!

One of my cats is interested in the outside. The other only wants to know what’s out there if there’s a screen or window between him and The Big Scary Outside.

That looks a lot like my Plan A.
