BFF Margene surprised me with a lovely birthday gift while we were having a fabulous lunch with the boys at Red Iguana, our favorite Mexican restaurant.*
Margene’s beautiful handspun yarn that I drooled on over when she brought it to SnB (yes, Cookie, you can stop harassing Margene now), and a darling hand-lettered mug, with one of my favorite quotes. Are there any knitters who do not recognize it?
They are perfect. Thank you, my friend.
And we even have beautiful spring weather, finally! This afternoon, I’ll have a lovely lunch with my aunt who’s visiting from California.
It’s a good day.
*We were actually at Red Iguana 2… and for any of the locals who haven’t heard, there’s now a Red Iguana at the City Creek food court. Small menu, but just as good. Perfect for the downtown lunch crowd.
