Long Time No See

I’ve been busy, busy, busy.

Lots of projects (knitting and household) going on around here.

I’ve finished a couple of projects – the Gap-Tastic Cowl, and the Aspen Cowl (oops, did I ever blog about that one?), but I don’t have any modeled shots to show you yet.

My newest portable project is the Dreieckstuch mit Blätterrand * Triangle Scarf with Leaves Border by eliZZZa Wetsch. It’s a super-simple asymmetrical triangular scarf, similar to Hitchhiker, but with a leafy border instead of a sawtooth border.

Scarf with Leaf border

You can purchase the written tutorial in German or English, or just watch the free video tutorial (in German, but easy to follow along).

The pattern is simple and easy to memorize after the first repeat. Just knit until you run out of yarn. (Of course, those final rows can get reaaaaaallllly long…)

I’m doing my projectwith a skein of Araucania Ranco Solid.

This color is amazing and the leaves are so beautiful. I had my eyes on a similar shawl but this may be better! Oh and your cowls look very lovely.
