FO: Ene’s Scarf

The first Finished Object of the year!
Ene Scarf

Pattern: Ene’s Scarf, by Nancy Bush, from Scarf Style
Yarn: Knit Picks Shadow, “Vineyard”, just over 1 1/2 skeins
Needles: US 6 / 4mm
Modifications: None
Ravelry: Project page, pattern page

The yarn called for in the pattern, Blackberry Ridge Silk Blend Laceweight, has a lot more substance than the yarn I used, and a light fingering might be a better substitute – or a doubled laceweight). I considered using the yarn doubled, but wasn’t sure I’d have enough with 3 skeins (and as it turns out, I would indeed have been a little bit short).

Pretty! I have always felt that Knitpicks yarns lack a little in the substance category when compared to others.

It’s wonderful! I like that it’s not as dense a scarf as others I’ve seen. I think that gives you more options when you wear it. Well done!
