It’s grapefruit season! This lovely Texas beauty is one of the best grapefruits I’ve ever eaten, except perhaps for some I had right off the tree in Belize. Gorgeous color and super-sweet. If you like grapefruit, now’s the time. This one came from Texas via Costco.
And here’s a peek at last night’s pasta, courtesy of the frozen bounty from my garden:
Scallops over papardelle, in a sauce made from a bit of olive oil, my last frozen Woodle Orange tomato and some frozen homemade pesto. Yum.
Oh yes! Grapefruit martinis!!
oh YUM. I need to figure out how to cook scallops. Can’t decide if I should wish that my kids will eat them so we can have them more often, or wish they won’t like them so there’s more for me…
Yes, YUM! Our day is cold and rainy. That would work perfectly.
Yum is right!
Kitten, hope your kids hate them. More is better.
Yummy!
Yum!
That grapefruit looks yummy! Wish I could eat it. Grapefruit doesn’t play nice with some of my medications so I’ve had to quit eating them.
Can’t get enough grapefruit! I have to allot them to my daughter or she’d eat four a day and I’d be left with none! Scallops look delish too! Good stuff going on at your place!
