This past weekend was the Rocky Mountain Knitters’ Retreat at Alta. The weather was wonderful, as usual. Perfect for hiking or relaxing on the sunny patio.
And of course, the mountains were gorgeous in their fall finery.
It was extra special this year, because not only did Carole come back for another visit to Utah, but we got to meet Kym in person, too. (That’s Kym, Carole, Suzy, and Margene below.)
See? We really did do some knitting, despite Alta Lodge’s best efforts to distract us with lots of wonderful food and drink.
I even started a new project.
Nothing like a weekend in the mountains with 50 knitters.
Woo Hoo!
We need to talk about that pattern later on. Once you’ve knit it, fixed it and can explain it to me. ;^)
It was awesome to be there with all of you!
It looks like it was wonderful! What fun!
Ooo, I like the shawl pattern. I have a skein of teal Wollmeise that I could use….
One of these years I’m actually going to have to go to one of those fiber things. š Looks like y’all had some fun.
Oh, it looks like a fabulous time! š
lovely. Just lovely.
So happy I could be there . . . and grab one of the Bloody Marys for myself!
Beautiful environment for a lovely group of friends!
Your project was the PERFECT color for the Retreat! I’d love a Bloody Mary about now. š
