My blog stats tell me that I have reached 1,500 posts.
I guess that means it’s time for something knitterly.
I actually do have a new FO to show you. (Don’t faint.) But I have no photo of it yet, so you’ll just have to stay in suspense. By the time I get that pic, I might even have TWO finished things to show you.
That makes it sound like I’ve been doing a lot of knitting, but unfortunately, no. My arms are doing slightly better, and have found that if I knit for only 5-10 minutes, then take a break for at least 15-20 minutes, I can manage a little bit of knitting. Even a snail will eventually make it across the finish line.
Since I don’t have any of my own knitting to show you, how about this sweater I spotted at a store a few weeks ago? It’s stranded knitting, but with the “wrong side” out.
At first I thought someone had just put the sweater on the mannequin inside-out, but no – it’s definitely supposed to be this way. The label is on the inside. It’s a nice snowflake pattern, by the way. Not that you can tell.
Weird.
Congrats on your blogging milestone!
Weird sweater is weird.
And you have my complete sympathy about knitting. My neck/shoulder thing just doesn’t allow much knitting at all – not even as much as you manage!
Your milestone made me look at my stats. TODAY I hit comment 67,000! At least your arms are improving and the pain is abating. Maybe someone thought blurry snowflakes would be all the rage.
Hope your arms continue to improve.
Whoever buys the sweaters should remove the tag, turn them inside out and wear ’em that way!! It also got me to wondering if someone hand knit it or if machines can do stranded knitting…
It’s amazing how those posts pile up! That’s a lovely sweater — inside or out. (I’m always thinking the inside should be the outside. But that’s just me.)
Congratulations!
I’m so glad your arms are improving. Such a limitation has to be so frustrating.
Weird is right. I’m hoping for a quick and full recovery for you.
I still love that sweater. Yay 1500!
