The big circular shawl of awesomeness is done.
It’s 50″ across, and took about 1100 yards of Cookie‘s handspun, which is totally deserving of a closeup:
It’s mostly pinkish-purple, but has bits of blue and even a tiny bit of green in it.
The pattern is the “EZ 100th Anniversary PI Shawl: Hearts“. It’s the first time I’ve made a full circle shawl. It was fun! No purl-back rows. And the lace patterns weren’t too difficult, so it was even something I could work on in public.

Oh my! Lovely pattern, gorgeous yarn, incredible shawl!
Awesome name for an awesome shawl. 😀 I don’t know what I would do with a circular shawl or I would make one.
That is truly fabulous! You did a wonderful job. So glad the yarn was okay.
I have been wondering how that project was coming along. Now I know. Beautiful.
I just finished the half circle version and am about to block it.
I’ve thought of making a circular shawl but from what I’ve heard they are a horror to block. Yours is stunning!
Completely amazing! Wow.
Perfect pattern for the yarn. You deserve the award for most stitches knit this year! It’s fabulous!
GORGEOUS! Yarn. Shawl. You and Cookie.
That is beautiful. I made a Pi shawl out of black handspun alpaca back in the day, so I appreciate the work that went into this.
WOW. What an incredible amount of work. And such righteous use of Cookie’s handspun.
