So Confused

Is it fall, or is it spring?

We’ve had the longest/hottest fall on record here, and I’ve been loving it. But the plants in the garden are terribly confused.

Iris are blooming – both large:

Bearded Iris

and small:

As well as some other spring blooming flowers, like this one (I think it’s some kind of perennial Alyssum):

But most disturbing of all are the daffodils I found peeking up out of the ground:

    Um, that doesn’t seem good. Those poor plants are going to have a harsh reality check at some point.

    We’re all confused, but iit seems the flowers are enjoy the beautiful weather just as much as we are. I think it’s about to change!
