I have narcissus blooming. In November.
Although they would normally bloom (in the spring) at the same time as the iris which is also blooming right now, I’m pretty sure this is the first time I’ve ever had it blooming at the same time as the snapdragons.
And roses.
And I definitely have never had them blooming while I had tomatoes on the vine,
And basil in the herb garden.
I’m afraid this weird weather is going to cause lots of problems with the spring bulbs next year. Hope they survive!
Wow! That is just so weird. We’re having a lovely (and unusual) warm spell right now — but we’ve already had a frost or two . . . so our tomatoes and basil and impatiens are already gone. (And no bulb action, for sure.)
Did they get hit by frost last night? Our front garden is looking sad because of the cold. I need to get bulbs in before the ground freezes!
Poor confused flowers. 😦
Beautiful, but concerning. My grape hyacinths are so confused by the weather the last few years that they have given up blooming. Here’s hoping the weather returns to normal and your bulbs get the chilling they need for spring.
I see a few trees on my walking path that have leaf buds on them. Oh dear…
